Many many thanks to Sinead O’Connor for kindly putting me (plus one) on her guest list last night for the first gig of her UK tour to promote her fantastic new album How About I be Me (And You Be You)?.

The gig was held at St.Georges Church, Brighton and was promoted by Melting Vinyl. Her distinctive, stunning and beautiful voice shone through and left you in no doubt about her talent as she performed songs from her new album, classics from her back-catalogue and traditional Irish vocal ballads. She looked sexy and lush in her leather basque and red head scarf and you could see her and her band buzzed and fed off each other during the gig, she is back where she belongs singing live and giving something special to people that cannot fail to touch their souls. Back-dropped by the wonderful interior of St.Georges Church it made for a memorable evening and it was a privilege to be present for this performance…

if there is a divine force or holy sprit it definitely shrines through Sinead when she sings.

I wish her well on her path through life. The new album is available from Amazon UK at the special reduced price of £3.99 as a digital MP3 download for one week only so get your copy.Again, thank you kindly Sinead.

With love and faith
